Smoky mezcal tequila mixed with sage simple syrup and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

Tomorrow is Sunday funday. So I decided to end this week’s posts with a cocktail. This simple cocktail is a play on the classic greyhound. I used smoky mezcal instead of the traditional vodka or gin. To enhance the smoky flavor of the tequila, I added a sage simple syrup. Then I mixed it all together with the customary fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice. A refreshing libation to add a little funday into your Sunday!
