I’m keeping my holiday baking simple this year. I’m making a few timeless classics, magic cookie bars, pecan snowballs, and chewy gingerbread. And mixing in a couple of new recipes, chocolate peppermint sandwich cookies and raspberry pinwheels.
The sandwich cookies taste like thin mints with the appearance of an Oreo. The pinwheels have a tender dough with a hint of almond and just enough sweetness from the jam.
